We do our utmost to ensure your cacao arrives in the best possible condition, but as a natural product, it can be affected by weather and transit conditions. Please review our shipping details below before placing your order.

Processing & Dispatch Times

  • Orders are typically dispatched within 1-3 business days after purchase.
  • We currently use AusPost for deliveries and take great care in packaging your order.

Delivery Estimates

(Delivery times may vary based on location and external courier delays.)

  • Standard Shipping: 3-10 business days after dispatch.
  • Express Shipping: 2-5 business days after dispatch.

Order Tracking

  • Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email.

Weather Considerations & Product Care

Due to the nature of our product, we cannot guarantee it will arrive in perfect condition once it leaves our hands.

Raw chocolate is sensitive to changing weather conditions, and while we take every precaution, we do not take responsibility for melted or slightly damaged pods due to transit.

As a precaution, we generally do not ship on extremely hot days to reduce the risk of melting. However, this may not apply to express delivery options, and we cannot be responsible for possible damage caused by transit conditions.

We highly recommend getting your order delivered to a regularly attended address and opting out of 'safe drop' options, especially in hot climates.

Address & Delivery Responsibility

Please ensure your shipping details are correct at checkout.

If an incorrect address is provided and your order is returned to us, you will be required to cover reshipping fees for the new delivery.

We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or undelivered items due to incorrect addresses, unattended deliveries, or courier issues beyond our control.

REFUNDS/RETURNS:

At TLP, we truly stand behind the products we create and are committed to providing you with the best possible experience with our cacao.

As our products are intended for consumption, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind. However, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if your order arrives faulty, damaged, or is not as described, please reach out to us at chloe@thelovepod.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order. We will assess the issue and, where required, provide a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Due to the delicate nature of raw chocolate and the often hot Australian climate, we take every precaution to package your order with care. While we do our best to ensure it arrives in perfect condition, we cannot guarantee that melting or slight aesthetic imperfections won’t occur in transit. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to store your cacao in a cool, dry place upon arrival.
